About the workshop

A child’s chart is about conditions for development, not a “verdict”

When we examine a child’s chart, it is especially important to proceed with care: not to attach labels or try to “predict their destiny.”

In the workshop, we explore how chart structure and special markers known as Symbolic Stars can reveal conditions for growth: what supports the child, where vulnerabilities may lie, and how to gently compensate for imbalances in their environment and workload.

A child can grow up happy with any chart. Analysis helps the adults around them make more supportive decisions.

  • Ethical and considerate analysis
  • Focus on support, not fear
  • No fatalistic conclusions
Logic of the analysis

How to read a child’s chart calmly and professionally

Three layers of understanding

1

Chart foundations

We examine the balance of the elements, the chart’s strength, and the child’s basic needs

2

Symbolic Stars

We interpret the markers as clues about conditions: where more support is needed and where resources should be conserved

3

Developmental scenarios

We frame recommendations in terms of environment and upbringing: routine, workload, interests, and support

Outcomes

What you will be able to understand from a child’s chart

Guidance for parents, educators, and consultants

See a child’s needs through the balance of the elements

You will understand what supports the child and where it is important not to overload them

Interpret Symbolic Star Markers Responsibly

You will learn how to use these indicators as clues about conditions, not as a “verdict”

Formulate recommendations without pressure

You will learn to turn conclusions into supportive decisions about routines, interests, boundaries, and communication

A real-life example of application

You will be able to understand why a calm pace and predictability are more helpful for one child, while another needs more activity and self-expression—and how to provide the right support

Why Examine Symbolic Stars at All?
