How ShenQi Credits Work

Account & Settings June 26, 2026

ShenQi credits — a single internal account balance used for paid actions on the platform. They can be used in calculators, future AI tools, and other ShenQi services.

Credits are not an external currency: they cannot be withdrawn, exchanged for money, or used outside ShenQi. They are intended solely to pay for features within the platform.

Why credits are useful

Credits provide a more flexible way to use ShenQi's paid tools. In many cases, you can choose to pay for a specific service separately or use credits from your balance.

A one-time purchase is convenient when you need one specific result. For example, in the Date Selection calculator, you can simply purchase the selected calculation and get immediate access to the result.

Credit packages are usually better value if you plan to use ShenQi tools regularly. The larger the package, the lower the cost per credit may be.

Where credits are already used

The first use case for credits — the Date Selection calculator: selecting a date for a specific task.

In the future, credits will also be used in other ShenQi tools, including AI assistants, advanced calculations, and additional platform services.

How to get credits

Method How it works
Buy a package You add credits to your balance. The larger the package, the lower the cost per credit may be.
Receive with a subscription Some subscriptions provide credits every month.
Receive as a bonus In the future, credits may be awarded through promotions, events, giveaways, loyalty programs, or individual compensation.

How purchased credits differ from subscription credits

Purchased credits — a way to add funds to your balance in advance. This option is convenient if you plan to use different ShenQi tools regularly. Always check the terms of the specific package for its validity period. If no validity period is specified, the package may remain available indefinitely.

Subscription credits work differently. They are issued monthly, even when the subscription itself is annual. For example, an annual subscription may provide credits each month as a separate monthly allocation.

Unused subscription credits for a given month do not carry over to the next period and expire. They are a monthly subscription benefit, not a permanent balance.

Credit source How they work
Purchased package Adds credits to your balance. Suitable for regular use of ShenQi tools. The validity period is specified in the purchase terms.
Subscription Credits are issued every month, even with an annual subscription. Any unused monthly balance expires at the end of the period.
Bonuses and events May be awarded through promotions, giveaways, events, loyalty programs, or compensation. The terms and validity period depend on the specific credit allocation.

One-time purchase or credit package

Option Best suited for
One-time purchase You need one specific calculation or result right now.
Credit package You plan to use calculators, AI tools, and other paid features regularly.
Subscription credits You have an active subscription that provides credits every month.

If you choose a one-time purchase, you do not need to understand how credits work behind the scenes. ShenQi will automatically unlock the result you need after payment.

A credit balance is useful for those who want to use the tools more often, top up in advance, and save with packages.

How credits are deducted

Before a paid action, ShenQi shows how many credits are required.

If you have enough credits, they are deducted from your balance. If you do not have enough, you can pay the difference or buy a credit package for future use.

In some cases, a portion of your credits may be placed on hold while payment is processed or a result is being unlocked. Once the process is complete, the credits are either deducted or returned to your available balance.

If your balance contains credits with different expiration dates, ShenQi uses those that expire soonest first.

Where to view your balance and history

Your balance and complete transaction history are available in your account.

The history shows:

  • balance top-ups;
  • subscription credit allocations;
  • bonus credits;
  • deductions for paid actions;
  • expiration of credits that have reached the end of their validity period;
  • refunds or adjustments.

In brief

ShenQi credits — a convenient way to pay for tools within the platform. A one-time purchase remains a convenient choice for a single result, while credit packages are usually better value for regular use.

Purchased credits are added to your account balance. Subscription credits are issued monthly and remain valid only for their monthly period. Bonus credits may be awarded through promotions, events, giveaways, or compensation.
