Why does one person engage with learning easily, while another struggles to concentrate, cope with the workload, or turn knowledge into results? This week, we will talk about aptitude for learning—without labeling anyone “lazy” or “incapable,” and without one-size-fits-all advice.
A learning task depends on several conditions: how a person perceives and absorbs knowledge, what support they need, how their workspace is organized, and the specific purpose for which timing is selected—starting classes, preparing, taking an exam, or defending a paper.
The theme of the week is “Aptitude for Learning: The Person, Space, and Time.”
For the quality of time on each day from August 17 to 23, see “Weekly Rhythm · August 17–23”.
🌿 Theme of the week
This week, we will explore four levels that should not be conflated.
- Resource in BaZi—what can support learning: structure, a mentor, time to absorb material, independent inquiry, or a creative way of understanding the subject.
- Academic Star and Study Hall—additional indicators associated with education, exams, speech, and creative ability. They can offer guidance, but on their own they do not guarantee grades or academic success.
- Flying Stars and the workspace—which spatial conditions can support memory and concentration, and which can add tension or make the learning process more difficult.
- Date Selection—how to frame the question when choosing a date to begin studying, preparing, or taking an exam. There is no universal “best date for every student”: the specific person and task both matter.
The negative manifestations of the Flying Stars will also be part of the discussion—not as a cause for anxiety, but as information about where to pay closer attention to workload, routine, the workspace, and how the process is organized.
🎥 Live streams
All live-stream times are given in UTC+3.
Sunday, August 16 — “Weekly Rhythm: August 17–23,” 19:00
Before the new themed week begins, we will look at the quality of time over the coming seven days: where it is worth acting more actively, and where it is better to reduce unnecessary risks and avoid rushing decisions.
Wednesday, August 19 — “Won't They, or Can't They? What Lies Behind Learning Difficulties,” 19:00
We will discuss why learning difficulties cannot be explained by a single character trait or one chart indicator. We will consider which questions help us understand the situation more precisely and what kind of support to seek.
Sunday, August 23 — “Weekly Rhythm: August 24–30,” 19:00
We will conclude the theme of the week and move on to guidance for the next period.
📖 Materials for the week
On the website
The article “Weekly Rhythm · August 17–23” brings together general guidance on the quality of time for each day of the week.
On Telegram and social media
Monday, August 17 — begin with a question, not pressure.
Why control does not always help a child learn, and which reasons for resistance need to be distinguished before looking for a solution.
Tuesday, August 18 — Resource in the chart.
We will discuss Direct and Indirect Resource: why one person finds it easier to learn through order, explanations, and support from a mentor, while another learns through independent inquiry, imagery, and unconventional connections.
Wednesday, August 19 — open themed live stream.
We will continue the conversation about learning difficulties and gather questions that are especially important to consider in a practical analysis.
Thursday, August 20 — a space for studying.
We will look at the Flying Stars, the workspace, and combinations that can support or hinder concentration and the learning process. In “Weekly Rhythm”, August 20 is marked as a challenging day: it is better to choose another time for difficult decisions and unnecessary risks.
Friday, August 21 — timing a learning task.
Why Date Selection begins not with a search for a “good day,” but with a precise formulation: what exactly is the person planning to do—begin preparing, master a new subject, take an exam, or defend a paper?
🌿 Workshop of the week
Saturday, August 22, 17:00 UTC+3
“Aptitude for Learning: What the Date of Birth Reveals and How Space and Time Influence It”
BaZi · Feng Shui · Date Selection
Admission—€26
Using one anonymized case, we will examine the complete path: from the question about learning and the person's chart to a spatial plan, the learning task, activations, and timing selection.
The workshop is intended for those already familiar with the basic concepts of BaZi and/or Feng Shui. We will not begin with the Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches, but will focus on how familiar tools come together in a practical analysis.
Questions of the week
Which learning task is currently the most important for you or your child?
- it is difficult to start studying;
- consistency and routine are lacking;
- concentrating is difficult;
- preparation for an exam is needed;
- you want to understand how to organize the workspace;
- you need to choose the timing for a specific learning step.
Leave your questions on Telegram, in Stories, and in the comments on the week's materials. Some of them will help shape examples and answers for the open live stream and workshop.
An important boundary
General materials help reveal the conditions and formulate the question more precisely. But they do not replace educational, psychological, or medical support when it is needed, nor do they constitute a personal analysis of a chart or home.
A personal analysis depends not on one Resource, one symbolic star, or one sector, but on the person's chart, the specific task, and the real conditions of their life.
